2011 has begun on a busy note for Wood Constructions with projects in a wide range of areas across the South of England including Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Kent and London.

Requirements have been specified as modern, stylish, unusual access and layout, environmentally friendly materials in construction and high quality finishing. Requests have also been made for partial project management of a garden office building, leaving the structure for the client to complete the decoration internally and externally, and use their own electrician to fit all wiring, lighting and sockets.

With our flexible approach to your garden building project, we are able to accommodate the majority of requests and are also involved in timber building restoration and listed building restoration.

We now have launched our facebook page which will be updated with projects from across southern counties throughout the year. Timber Building Refurbishment from Wood Constructions

As specialists in timber buildings, Wood Constructions are delighted to highlight one of our services, timber building refurbishment.

We have the experience to refurbish any existing timber building including listed buildings, delapidated garden rooms, annexes or timber office buildings. Recent refurbishments include a former village hall with listed status which had a brick built base supporting a full timber frame structure. Other projects we would be happy to work on include timber roofs which need replacement. These could be simply old or damaged timber structures that require a refit of supporting joists. In a recent example of this type of timber building refurbishment, Wood Constructions were commissioned to totally replace all timbers in an old storage unit, including all structural timbers, roof timbers, windows, doors and flooring. The result was so impressive that the building owner decided it was too good to use for storage and instead now uses it for a garden office!

As with all well used timber buildings, wear and tear take their toll. Pool houses often suffer due to the damp environment combined with chlorine or similar. Wood Constructions are able to refurbish your pool house and meet your expectations on your new pool house.
